Titian Inn – Venice Airport

Cost: $132.50/night on Expedia

Location: On Via Orlanda in the small town of Tessera, about a 5 minute drive from the Marco Polo Airport.

Overview: We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and we had a really early flight to catch. They have a shuttle from the hotel to the airport that is E5 and you can schedule it the day before. There is a bus stop not far from the hotel that you can take to Venice. You have to purchase a ticket ahead of time though, which you have to get either at the station on the island, or at the airport.

Pros:

• Close to the airport.
• Breakfast starts at 4:30AM.

Cons:

• 12km from the island of Venice so you have to catch a bus.
• Road noise was surprisingly bad.
• No A/C in the room and there was construction going on outside the window so we couldn’t leave the windows open.
